It would be the biggest storm this winter - at least that's what they said.  Supposedly we were expecting a large blizzard to come our way today, but I saw more snow last week! The weathermen always amaze me.  They speak in such absolutes, like "we will be having..." or "this storm is coming".  The truth of the matter is that they don't really know what loop nature will throw us for, and all the while we plan our whole days based on their "educated guesses".

It's a funny thing really, because this same thread runs farther throughout society.  There are so many people, companies, campaigns bombarding us with the fact that we should take their word on things.  Somehow we're expected to "know", for instance, that whoever we elect president has much better ideas of running government than each of us do.  The results often speak otherwise.

All of us subscribe to these forces too easily.  We change our lifestyles based on "recent studies", we walk to work because of "global warming".  How many of us have actually researched these things for ourselves.  If I had the money to back up the statement that the world is disintegrating from the inside, I think we'd be surprised how many people believe it.

My point is this: we - as knowledgeable human beings - owe it ourselves not to completely trust the word of anybody.  There is only one word that is always correct, and that is from GOD.  Anything outside of that, we need to explore for ourselves.  Otherwise, we can become duped in so many ways, sucked into so many ideas, that we base our lives completely on "educate guesses", "forecasts", and "climate change".  While there may be some research behind all of these things, we shouldn't let anyone else make our decisions for us.  The second we do, we've lost a great piece of our humanity.
